    Unhappy problem booting in xp

    hi again, i've got a new problem that i cant figure out for myself, its like this...every morning i boot up or try to anyway, try to 'coz i get shut down. done virus scans (avast), spyware scans (spybot S n D), adware scans (adaware se), they all come up clean. description of what happens...i get to dos...restart...dos...windows tell me it didint start properly...sorry for inconvenience...try again...try safe mode..the letters are all jumbled up...restart...i get matrix-like screen.shut down my pc..wait like 30 mins then try again,everything normal. why???going crazy heheheh

    Maybe you should do a clean Windows install. I'm not sure :/.

    try http://pcpitstop.com/ test it should tell u what the problem is

    to test click "full PC tune-up" click on "New Members" then "Test Anonymously" and in a few mins it well tell u were your problem is

    I agree - this is pretty much a fix-all for all problems not hardware related. Take an hour or two and reinstall the OS and put your stuff back on and it'll feel like a brand new PC again. Sometimes I do it when there's not even a problem - helps me keep all my stuff organized.

    sorry for the delay in replying, backed up my data and reformatted the disk, clean install and everything, just hope alls okay.
