Probably not, as the mirror shield is animated to work on adult Link only. However, you could ask the guys at ZSO, but be sure to be polite, as they have a tendency to be a little intolerant of newbies.

what graphic plugin r u using? every time I try the young link cheat (with every plugin i've got) it always says that there has been a graphics problem.
The graphics plugins i've got r: rice 5.4.3, jabo's 1.6 & 1.5.2

Why would you even want to do that!? At least you can play the game. Don't let minor things like that bother you.

You could use rices plugin to retexture one of the othr shields, but that wouldn't actually be the mirrior shield.

I don't think that a retexture would help, because it would result the same. But I remember that one of Project 64 Cheats used Link's sword case as a shield in version 1.4, that if it could be changed to a mirror shield
