Star Fox 64 "Glitch" level

I was taking a look at the cheat list of SF64 when I saw in the level select menu a stage marked as "Glitch". When I checked the box, I started the game and I was in Area6 with only one enemy. After that nothing happened. What's that strange stage?
Sorry, I'm not very used to English (I'm brazilian), so if you want to say something about what I wrote, I don't mind, Ok?

Well, like it said, it's probably a glitch or a programming test that was left in the game but wasn't removed either... so the developers just sealed it off.
