    Boom adaptor question here...

Sorry if you get these all the time <_< Anyway, I plug it into my dads laptop and it works beautifully, with no problems at all, but when I plug it into my own computer, it goes "USB Device not recognized" and says the drivers are not installed. I guess my computer didnt install whatever generic drivers like my father's did. I'm at a loss here. I spent a week waiting for it to come, and it did, and it doesnt even work right on my computer. So, does anyone know what to do? Know what drivers I have to install by myself for it to work?

    Throw it away? =(

What operating system is on the laptop? Not sure about the adapter, but it also could be a bad adapter.

He says it works fine on the laptop, so it can't be a bad adapter.

The drivers that should have been supplied with the adapter are only needed for Win98/ME. If you don't have (or lost) the floppy, see the attached below. If you're using Win2k/XP, the drivers are not required, nor do I think they would work anyway.
