    7zip decompression

I am looking at adding 7zip support in to pj64. One thing that does seem bad for support is that it appears I need to extract all the files from the zip to read any data. With a regular zip I can just read a small amount. For loading a game this is not much of an issue (beyond also not getting a % where you up to in the load) but for the rom browser, if you had 5 7zip files each containing 3 files I would be extracting all complete 15 files to refresh the rom browser,

    does this seem right ?

From what I see, this can be or not be the case. The 7zip can act as a zip file or as you described. In the later case, you gain more compression at the cost that you need to extract everything to get information from the archive.
