Shenmue 1 CD1 problem

I'm having trouble getting CD1 to work. When I try to boot it I just get to the music player in chankast. All the other CDs boots fine.. but you can't do much without CD1
I've been reading the FAQ etc and I've tried various selfboot programs. The problem is when I explore the CD in windows (burned or mounted) all I see is Track01.cda and that file is like 44 bytes.. so I can't copy any content to my HD from the CD. The cdi is like 759mb or so... so something must be wrong. I also tried installing those aspi-drivers and changing the cd-plugin... but no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

I had the same problem... looking for the solution......at last.
I´ve tried all the thing that you´ve done. Try using Daemons Tools 2.29. You will finally can shenmue cd1 work.
