    t0rek's 1000 Post

It's been a while since I arrived here. ET has lot of meaning to me. This forums are still the only ones that I post in the whole web.
All the staff of ET has been very gentle, also a lot members are great.
I'm not gonna lie, there were also a few bad moments and no body at ET is perfect, but who is perfect after all?
If you asked me, Martin is really gentle as an admin, he even changed my user name two times (I first came here as "bestlegion", the it changed to "Best Angel" and finally to "t0rek")
When I first came here, I didn't know anything about how forums worked online, in fact it was a new concept for me. I first made some ridiculous things, like asking for be a moderator, insulting a moderator, and lot of really really bad stuff.
But I think I improved since then (I believe). Thanks for all you guys, you really helped me (and keep doing it) at Tech Talk, and with some requests at Talk of the Town and Way off topic forums when they existed. I really apreciate that help. Some of the guys that once helped me are maybe not around, but also thanks to them.
I also remembe that cooliscool and me, used to flame each other. Other important thing is when Passive kicked me from #emulation64 because I insulted him (it was not an "arm shrink" thing", what thing for sure is that I really study Psychology) but after all we get along
I started to join #emualtion64 on january, and I received a lot of advices to build my PC, thanks to all the people there, specially to ren, Passive and Knuckles.
In the end there are a lot of good ol' moments here. I'll still be around and maybe in 5 years I'll have 2000 posts. When I say I'm going to ask something at the forums to some of my friends that means I'm going to ask at ET.

    Thanks everybody...

Do you know what - that is so true.

Over the past 5+ years, people have come and gone, but the fact remains that EmuTalk is one of the closest communities that I have ever been involved in.

Whenever I need help with something, regardless of the subject, I always think of you guys first!

May ET and the Emu64 Network live long into the future. We've built a wonderful community here, and I for one am glad to be a part of it.

    TBE 2011 - this time it's real.

This is going to turn into an "I love ET" thread.... I don't have problem with it since most of us feel that way.
