Steering Wheel problems

I'd like to here your suggestions for a controller plugin for use with racing games like ridgeracer, wipeout or waveracer.

I set my dead zone to 0, but i still have to turn my wheel about 45 degrees before it starts working in the game. And i have it set in analog mode.

I have latest drivers with my steering wheel, which is by a brand u never heard of called tevion. I know other people experience similar problems with popular brands.

I've tried N-Rage, jabo's and N64 virtual pad. None do the trick even after playing with settings for some time. I even tried ePSxe emulator and different plugins with that to get GT working, but had same problem.



When I go into control panel>game controllers - then mess with steering wheel controls, the controls respond beautifully to slightest turn, so I don't understand what the problem is with plugins. Thanks
