    N64 Castlevania64: Memcard not recognised

hey everyone, I'm playing Castlevania64 on 1964 and I can't save my progress on the game. Whenever I start the game, it says that the memcard is not connected using the US and Europe versions. The japanese version the memory card works fine and is recognized by the game. What's going on here?

Hey have checked your input plugins? There's a spot in it with the memory card. Make sure that the raw data box is unchecked. I had this problem at the start.

w00t!! I was wondering about that today when i was working on......my own high rez projects.....name disclosed until further work is done. Next Q is, is there an input plugin that works nicely like N-Rage, but will give force feedback?

Doesn't N-Rage provide a rumble feature already ? Why bother with another one ?

By the way, if you are working on Castelvania, make sure you do Castlevania - Legacy of Darkness, it's the follow up of Castelvania 64, but it's more like a director's cut, where several things are fixed(gameplay wise) and a few levels remixed, but in spite of a different start the game is pretty much the same, when you are done you might even re-use the same texture for Castelvania 64!! And it would be nice to play this game again, it's being said that this game wasn't worth to have this name, because it doesn't really capture the spirit of a classic Castelvania game, but I enjoyed it never the less.

I had problems reguarding memory card access with this game before. Castlevania seems to be picky about the memory card.
