    No Controller?!

I dl'd the emu...i dl'd the mario64 rom..i loaded the rom and the emu said i didn't have a controller...isn't the point of an emu to be able to play the game on a pc...without a noob stick?...a. is there a substitute like an option where i can change it to keyboard settings...or do i have to go buy a pc controller?

I'M SICK OF ANSWERING THIS, but I believe the problem is that you don't have the controller "plugged in" so to speak (i.e. the game can't detect what's supposed to be the virtual N64 controller). Simply go into the settings for the input plugin, and tick "plugged". That should solve the problem.
Oh, and use the "search" function before posting next time.
    That's a LOT of zeroes.
