I was wondering about
What's the difference of a Amd Athlon 1400Mhz and a Athlon 1200Mhz overcloacked to 1400MHZ.



Do they have the same performance?

And, What can you say about overcloacking?

It would depend on how the proc is overclocked. If it's a simple multiplier jump, the procs should perform nearly identically. Since system speed is dependent on more than just processor speed though, the overclocked proc would be faster if it's speed were achieved via FSB tweaking.
