i haved tried a bunch of the n64 emulators some work with some games etc.... but i am not sure if it is my system or the emulators please help me with a few questions: THANKS!

(1) why do the fps change and they somtimes go so slow???

(2) the sound is very choppy

(3) the emulator freezes my computer except the game playing

basically what can i do to get these to work better???
