I am trying to run Resident evil : code veronica (its an original CD ) and after Dreamcast logo screen i get an audio cd with track 1 instead of the game loading .
why does this happen ? is there any way to fix this ?

Looks like the cd is scratched or something.
Also i think that you need a iso image not the cd to play
Darkdeath, if you mean (it's an original cd) as in original copy of a game and not a backup on cdr or image, then that is the problem right there. No PC CD or DVD drive can read original DC games. The games were written using a proprietary design recording method (what is known as the GD-ROM or Gigabyte Disc). There are ways to use a DC networked to a PC to extract images of games, but talk of it is not permitted on these forums. If you'd like to try it, use google, there's plenty of sites that have tutorials that show how this is done. Otherwise, you can try to find places to download images, but again talk of this isn't allowed here, so google that as well if you want to go that way.
