problems with dead or alive

hy there.
i tryied to play dead or alive 2 with chankast. and after the logo of dreamcast it freezez. i have chan kast 0.25. i play it by iso in daemon tools.
whats wrong? what could be the cause for this ?

If the version you're trying is the DOA 2 LE, then alot of people apparently have problems with this game. Really not much that can be done for this right now.

I've read somewhere here that there is a way to get this game working, though it can be a ibt of a pain (especially if it's the echelon rip), just do a search for your game in this forum and you should be able to find out how to do it. Otherwise, just wait for a new release of Chankast (that's what I'm going to do).

I actually had this game working on my old computer with Daemon 3.29. There's a thread on here about how to fix the echelon extras that make it unbootable by chankast. You should be able to find it with a little searching, gluk.

Dude, do a search for "DOA2" in this forum, and look for a post by dreamlover. It was originally posted on June 19th, but last posted on June 27th if I'm not mistaken. A member named TheFreeman busts out with a step by step guide on how to make it work. (Way to go Freeman!) I'm sure this will help.

I've got a tiny problem. I've did it all step by step but all the CD-emulation programmes keep saying that they can't access the image. Perhaps someone had a similar problem?

Try the exoboot, it will 1000% fix your image to make DOA2LE working on chankast...
