Network game

Since it seems that Project64 is the only emulator for the Nintendo 64 that has the slightest activity and has the best overall emulation compatability, it would be great to finally see something with official network game support. While I am not a fan of kaillera, a basic client and server option would work the best. I know I will probably get flamed for even mentioning this but I must know if it is at least being considered. It would probably not work well outside of a LAN or high speed internet connection but having that feature would greatly appreciated. And since its been attempted before, it should not take much work at all. And no, network play does not always bring unwanted attention. Take for instance the zsnes project that has a simple client and server which works well for people. If the idea was not to bring attention to yourselves in the first place then creating an emulator was not something that should have been done at all. Thanks for your time and for creating a great emulator.

we're well aware that people want netplay.

the reason it's not in is that Zilmar hasn't had time.

since netplay is a bonus feature, my opinion is it's not something to do until almost everything else is done.

Uhh..1964 has netplay and is kinda being developed. They may surprise us with a release like Zilmar and Jabo did with PJ64 1.6. 1964 is almost as compatible and PJ64 and you can use Jabo's plugins with it.
