Question Can Anyone List What Good 3D Fighting Games Are On Mame32 Plus?

I know of a few such as DOA games and the Street Fighter EX games, anyone else have some good ones?

I think soul calibur is now in there somewhere, or soul edge. I know Tekken is supported now too.

Most of the good 3D fighters (Street Fighter EX series, Tekken series, Soul Edge, Dead or Alive++) that are playable on any system are also in ZiNc. I recommend using that. Playing them in MAME or any MAME varient requires something in the region of a 3Ghz Pentium 4, or a even higher speed Athlon 64. ZiNc's requirements are far more modest.

Yep. Zinc is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster and most of games look really good in 1024х768х32 w/ sprites

BTW There's a lot good games, not only Tekken,SFEX, SoulSomething

Ehrgeiz (unfortunately sound is not too good in System 11/12 games, but IMO it's one of the best 3D fighting games ever )
    Fighting Layer
    Rival Schools
    Star Gladiator
Star Gladiator 2 aka Plasma Sword - grrreat game !
Tech Romancer ( giant robots, great game)

Thanks for the help. I use Zinc for some games and Mame 32 Plus for others. Zinc is a really cool emulator for mostly fighting games and the graphics do look really nice on it.

One word of advice, dont use MAME for any game involving 3D and believe it will be playable.

MAME is run using Software Rendering, and that only. There have been alot of people asking about 3D acceleration, but the dev's don't want it.

MAME is about providing the closest possible experience to the real machines.. Not about hacks to make hacks to make the games run faster.

Virtua Fighter, VF Remix, VF Kids are all emulated in Mame 100%.. always full speed on my P4 3.2C@3.73 GHz too.

Virtua Cop, Virtua Racing, etc.. are somewhat emulated. No 3D in VC, but you can go to TEST and listen to the awesome soundtrack. Virtua Racing has 3D but there seem to be some bad CPU bugs (messed up AI, etc.)

making posts in a different thread while also having created a thread on the subject is annoying and unnecessary =-\
