    Windows Site does not work?:S

    Hi there?
    I wantedto ask, I have a site xyz I want to enter, but when I load it, It enter google:S
    Google! and that site is NOT google. while my friend reports that he enter that site just fine. what could get wrong?
    P.S that happens both with IE 6.0 and Mozzila Firefox
    and it started after a powerbreak, wwitch accourd when I surffed in the site

    I like swords...

    It helps if you mention the site - or is it an illegal/dodgy one? Does it happen in another browser?

    maybe some stuff got added in your host file and now it points to google....

    It goes to google, but are you sure its really google. It could be a browser hijacker. Check and make sure the google URL is actually www.google.com and not something like www.goggle.com or www.gooogle.com. Even then it could still be hijacked to show the real address so you may want to scan for viruses and spyware to be safe.
