Dvd Burner Stoped Burning Cd's Help!!!

Ok, at first, my dvd burner used to burn and read cdr roms and cds just fine, but just a few weeks ago, it just stopped reading cds altogether and its not a driver issue because I never changed the driver. Any help is GREATLY appriciated. Thanx

Did you happen to put any software on your computer? What kind of dvd burner is it? Any other strange things happen on the computer?

so in short it has stopped working at all. id suggest its probably dead. your problem may be similar to this. if it still has warranty id just swap it for a new one
