How do I play a PSX for which I have its files copied on my HD?

Here is the thing: I copied all the files for a PSX game on my computer and now that I don't have the original CD I tried to make an image with those files and the emulator can't recognize the image because it says that the psx-executable can't be found (I'm using psxeven). I was wondering if anyone call tell me any trick to make the game work.

You should have created an ISO of the disc using a program such as Alcohol 120% or CloneCD, or use the original CD.

Copying the files from a CD won't work like it would for a PC game.

Sorry to tell you wrong. But I got it to work by changing the Mode (From 1 to 2) in my Nero and made an .nri file that the Daemon program had no trouble to read.

    Thanks anyway for the info
