State Saving??

I'm sorry to ask you this, hope no one gets upset.

Is there a way to save your state with this emu rather than having to save to a memory card?
The problem that I have is that with RE:Code Veronica the sound crashes quite often and I really want to listen to the story and stuff without having to replay half of the game every time the sound crashes.

I better give you the answer to that before some one with waaay to high sarcasm level comes in...

There are no patches. This is a beta if it does not work or work properly then it does not work.

Go buy a Dreamcast. That is the only answer. Im only using this emulator to show my friends i CAN run Dreamcast. But i dont play on it. Why? Its bugged. Wait for new release or buy a Dreamcast. They dont cost much at all.

Actually, there is a solution (not satisfying enough, but might help). There are a lot of Ink Ribbons in the game, and before the next version is released the only way is to save your progress very, very often (once you are leaving the location with a typewriter nearby). Every time the sound will crash just restart emu and load your latest save. I know that this is very annoying, but the game is worthy of this dedication.
