    People asking for updates

I noticed there's a lot of anger on this board directed towards people asking for Chankast progress updates. I can understand that, but on the other hand, people are just curious. Most of them would just like to know what's happening with Chankast without being disrespectful of Chanka team. Yet there are little snippets of progress info scattered throughout the threads, you just have to look hard to find them. So how about opening a sticky thread and naming it "Unnoficial Chankast progress report" or something like that? Then the mods could update it whenever someone has any info about the team (presuming mods do read everything that's posted here) so that people would know Chankast is alive and everyone would stop asking <strike>stupid</strike> redundant questions.

I think most of the people who come and ask such questions aren't the type to read stickies, but maybe I'm wrong.

If people want a sticky then can have a sticky. All hands in favour.... There won't be many updates though. I do not have any contact with the authors I am afraid.

There you go... that should keep people who are begging for new versions away...
But I can understand some of them... Like insane cobra said, many people are just curious and want to know what to expect in the future... notthing wrong in that..

The frustration sets in because we don't know either. If we did we'd quite gladly let people know in a news post or as a sticky thread. The problem is we don't, yet a few people seem to enjoy spamming the same questions constantly.

From now on I'll just merge the questions into the main thread, so everyone can see how many people have already asked.

I suggest if people are angry over a free program that they put no time into making theirselves then they should go find a life and live it.
