    speed question...

as we all know, even high-end PCs cannot run PS2, GC, or XBox (in Xbox's case at all) at a good speed
well, I was thinking of getting a new processor, and I saw something about multiple processors
    would that work any better?

No not really, programs have to be made to take advantage of having multiple processors, and I don't think any emulator exists to do so.

IMO emulation is coming to an stall, because processors are coming to an stall, at least on speed terms, since emulation is based on cpu speed, next gen emulators will need processors that will take sometime to be released.

at least twice the speed of current cpu generation, and let`s not even consider some of the games mame will/now supports...
