    Problems with StarFox

    Hi there,

Well I'm a relative newbie to emulation, I used to have a N64, and I wanted to relive some memories - anyway.

I'm trying to get Star Fox 64 to work properly, but I get loads of graphical corruption. I've tried using 1964 and Project 64. So far, Project 64 is the best.

Sound is fine (not in 1964 though), but using Rice's Daedelus 5.4.2 I get corruption.

If I try to use Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5 then the video is fine, but sound stutters and the game runs very slowly at times, before crashing.

I'm using the Catalyst 5.2 drivers on my Radeon 9500 Pro.

Can you guys give me any help?
    Cheers.

Rice's Daedalus is old now, so update to Rice's Video 6.1.0c from the thread in the 1964 forum, and use the DirectX mode with Pixel Shader. Jabo's plugin does slowdown in places in this game so that's normal.

Thanks, I couldn't get 6.1.0c to work, so I used 6.0 instead, works a treat! Thanks.
