hello I am trying to decide on which emulator to go with from a list of about 5. So I wanted to ask is project64 still being worked on? or did they quit working on it? because the last news update on the site is from like 2002.

go with 1964 at first. It runs way!! more games. Make shure to get plugins like rices and glides
Actually the compatability is roughly the same.go with 1964 at first. It runs way!! more games
my question was whether or not PJ64 is still being worked on by the team. I would rather stick with an emulator that is being worked on than one that is stopped. Thank you for the suggestions though. i will look into 1964.
I will pay money to have this emu back on track. NO LIES. like 100$ if necessary!
Wo Bist Du?
PJ64 is kept up to date with GoodN64 and gets new configs when people post good ones. Only the core is discontinued, but it's a rather decent core, and is compatible with newer plugins too, so there is a lot of potential for non-working games to work in the future even if the core/default plugins are discontinued.
yeah the only two games that PJ64 1.5 will not be able to emulate are Stunt racer and World driver championship. This game is using a f..... audio system that no emus are able to handle (it's a supposition).Originally Posted by Clements
ok thank you for the info ^^ I would also like to ask another question if it's ok. Which emulators that are good are still continueing with the core? I'll probably stick with PJ64 but if there are some that are good and are still continued I would like to track their progress to compare with PJ64.
1964 and Mupen are still in semi-active development.Originally Posted by Kloe
