Framerates

I need to draw way faster framrates. In goldeneye when im in a gunfight im drawing like 12 frames. I can run wc3 on full and ut04 smoothly but i only draw crap in g007. Please help me.

Slowdown like this is present on the real N64.

ive played g007 on n64 and it doesnt lag like that

It does in fact lag on the real system (I've been playing this for 8 years). If it is lagging when there are no bad guys on the screen, then your processor is too slow for a smooth frame rate or your system is b0rked in some way.

Also, your processor is slow. 2.4 Ghz with a Pentium 4 isn't that fast. You should think about getting at least a Pentium 4 3.4 Ghz processor.

Or if you can't afford that, get an Athlon XP 3200+ or later processor, if you don't mind switching to AMD. An Athlon 64 2.0 Ghz processor will beat the **** out of any Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz processor. Just a heads up.
