Stuck (and pissed at) Legend of Mana

I just beat the mission "Searching for the Lost Princess" and used a walkthrough up to that point in the game. Keep in mind that I have the games AFs (artifacts) up to this point. One problem, it tells me to go to Polpota Bay. Uh-huh. Where? I have the Sand Rose, Ancient Tablet, Coral,
and Firefly. Where's the freakin' bay?? It's not on the map, and none of my current AFs don't make it. Am I not looking hard enough?

gamefaqs.com - did you look there? Lots of walkthroughs and sometimes even maps.

Oooookay. I have a walktrough, but I look on gamefaqs because the current one I have doesn't tell me what AF I need to get to Polpota Bay. I look at a AF guide and I need the Rusty Anchor. Do any of you know where to get it in the game? The FAQs don't tell me enough info regarding this.

what's the problem with trying to find it yourself? i don't understand why anyone would use walkthrough for the first time through a game.... way to defeat the fun of it.
