Kega Fusion refuses to load Sonic CD, etc!

I have a couple of Sega CD games and when I try to specify the CD/DVD ROM drive to run them off of, I either get into the game w/no music; or I get into the stupid music player! Please help! This happens no matter what I do.

Try using BIN+CUE images (ISO+MP3 do not work with Fusion), and install an ASPI layer.

So, would I make an image of the MP3s in addition to the Sonic CD image? And about ASPI Layers, are they pretty easy to find?

with xp you only need winaspi32.dll wich you can find here http://www.nero.com/us/ASPI_Driver.html once it is downloaded move it to your c-windows-system 32 folder

you should be able to run them from your cd drive now.

gens has better sega cd support. With Fusion, sound does not work too.

EDIT: Sound does not work with Sega CD only.

Kega's SegaCD emulation is more accurate and advanced than Gens. My SonicCD BIN+CUE image works perfectly with sound in Kega. Only ISO/MP3 rips do not work with Kega, and these are not desirable anyway since they having timing desyncs which do not occur with BIN+CUE.

    How would I make a BIN+CUE out of the CD I made (w/the image+mp3s)?

That would do you no good since the tracks are already out of sync.

you have to convert the mp3's to wave. there are a few free converters. after converting use sega cuemaker to make a new cue file. mount it to a virtual drive and use either cdrwin or alcohol 120 (or pretty much whatever burning app) and make a new bin/cue image from the mounted image.
