Is there any particular reason to why you made two topics on this?

    Valid question Jammy. Anywho...

tastatur, I use a program called SmartIPS v1.0. Very easy to use.
Here's a quick rundown (basically copied and pasted from SmartIPS doc),
along with a snapshot to insure success (God willing).

How to patch an existing Image with an .ips patch:
*files must be unzipped*<--Should go without saying but I'm sayin' anyway.

    1. Start SmartIPS
    2. Enter name of the original file or select it by using the button.
    3. Enter name of the .ips file or select it by using the button.
    4. Click 'Apply'.

    It's that easy. Happy patching.
