I've been getting the same thing. I think its because someones linking their sig image on an SSL connection (HTTPS ://www.example.com/image.gif)

    {EDIT}
At the bottom of the page there is a table with Similar Threads, any thread linking to this topic will have the certicifate pop-up.

just happened to me after seeing this thread , when looking at the "floppy drive can kill people" thread.

    -edit-

seems like it's when it tried to load Shadow's sig... it asked me that, it appeared, but now, dunno why, but it's not showing anymore. Noticed that he actually replied to the thread Allnatural was looking at?

Sorry , i was playing Super metroid from 5 O'clock on

I noticed that problem , too . I've hosted that site on www.1mb.at , it's a page where you can upload images up to 1 MB size , i only get a message of that kind if go directly on that page . That problem occured since today and didn't occur before , thats really strange...

    Here's a quote from the guestbook of www.1mb.at , it's german .

Im not really responsible for this , it's the hoster's server , they re-routed their second server .

    seltsam,

Short Explanation : That problem only hit server no. 2 , the routing isn't completed yet . It's just a bridge solution and it will run smooth tomorrow

If that happens ever again , you know what's up

that pic as described in that sayargh.net link in the above post, i took it off there (i control that domain). you can see it in the first post of this thread.

Shadow, you should avoid using them completely for the time being, otherwise you're going to piss off alot of users if this continues.

That matter is very clear to me , to be exactly , i'll piss off any forum user where i'm having a sig hosted by 1mb.at .

Their hosting was ok since 2 years , they just needed to spread the load onto more servers and that made some problems . I don't rally think this will go on , but i'll avoid their service until they're done .

I'll temporarily put it on 250free.com , or i'll try it via forum attachment , then i can be sure the sig is in good hands

    /edit : Grr , attachment won't work
