problem with shienryu

hi, I have a problem with the shooter shienryu, the screen is turned of 90° clockwise, the game is supposed is a vertical scroll shooter but for me results horizontal scroll, the problem is that the controls are screwed up because for example if I press UP the ship goes RIGHT, in practice it works good if I turn the monitor on a side, the strange thing is that the on screen text is right, "option" and "start game" text is horizontal but the game and controls are turned of 90°, seems like a game setting but I don't found it, did someone help me? thanks!

Just reconfig the controls on the controller before you start the game using glaunch or manually editing the user.ini in the profiles directory.

I can do like you said but isn't a normal mode to play, the arcade version of shienryu on mame emulator is vertical so I suppose the game is vertical shooter, I don't know if it's an emulator bug and I haven't a real saturn to try it
