zelda problems

Hi

Im new to this forum. It's a nice place!
I just downloaded 1964 and Zelda : ocarina of time and i cant seem to get it to work. I've tried all sorts of video plugins including Jabo D3D. Jabo d3d looks awesome on the 1964 website but on my computer all i get is text with a black background.
The only plugin that looks half descent on my computer is RCP's d3d but the colors are all wacky and the detail is missing.
My computer specs are



Windows XP
NVidia Vanta graphics card
Pentium 4 1.5 Ghz

Can anyone please help me out?

What drivers are you using? The vanta is a geforce 2 with some more options, if i remember correctly? Not sure
