A plugin can't fix a scratched CD (obviously).... if the disk doctor didn't work, and you are unable to rip the image, then sorry you'll have to obtain another copy (and look after it this time!)

What does 'bs' mean in this scenario? If it means bullshit, then perhaps clarify why on earth you responded in that manner, to what was very sound advice.

You screwed a ff7 CD ? How dare you ????!!

FF7 is a platinum PSX game , so it will be produced as long as the console lives , right ? I wanna buy it if it isn't too expensive...

I got a PSX copy of FF7 about 3 months ago ($19.99 CND), completely new and unscratched

Hmm... I fixed a cracked CD ( the crack went through the whole radius of the CD ! ) software-wise . The CD couldn't be read properly ( because the crack builds a gap ) but when i've installed new ASPI drivers , the Drive could at least read the data which wasn't too near to the crack No fake !

Omg , i was 14 years old when i've done that... quite dumb...

Well, BlindRead (now incorporated into BlindWrite?) can make images of damaged cd's. Doesn't work in all cases though, but it does work better than your average ripper at least.
