It was only recalled because of the win9x bugs it has.
If you do have win2k/xp i recommend it as it has advanced thread handling and is very fast. It hasn't crashed on me ever.
I have xp. (goldeneye is PERFECT speed).
However the authors dont recommend it so i don't know if this is bad advice.
Hmm...I only had ONE BSOD but I think that was caused because I disabled display gfx list to plugin in the RSP settings. Other than that, 0.83 is pretty good. I just can't wait for 0.84 tho
The 0.8.3a and 0.8.3c patches tried to fix the issues in Windows 9x/Me but failed. I don't know if they fixed other problems but it's worth trying them. Note that you only have to apply the 0.8.3c patch.
