I get the same error on Windows 7. Might be the new "preview" ATI drivers are missing some extensions. Here's OGL plugin log:
Supported OpenGL Extensions:

I can get it running on the other Video Plugin, but its really slow...
EDIT: I just found out that my graphics card "is a piece of junk" What graphics card should I get?

Well, don't use Windows 7, then. Windows is unstable enough final, you think a BETA Windows is going to work properly for anything?
Sorry if my reply seems harsh, but it IS the truth.
Lol, Windows annoys the crap out of me sometimes, but i know that what you are saying there is absolute crap. I have the latest build, and Dolphin works JUST FINE. No problems whatsoever. Except the ones in the emu itself. And FYI, Windows 7 is the most stable Windows i have used to date. (I can run GTA IV better then both XP and Vista)
I´m sorry if i sound like a freaking fan boy (Because i´m not) but when people state something that simply is NOT true, i have to react.

If i ever disagree with you, it is not because i´m trying to be an asshole. It is just to tell you that you are wrong
