Desmume and Pokesav Platinum

Well, i open my platinum save file on pokesav platinum and make my changes, then get the ARDS code.

i upload my game on desmume, click emulation -> cheats -> list and paste the ARDS code there.
then press L+R to activate my codes, but nothing happens except my Trainer name changes into !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???? ????????????? and few Japanese language characters at the pcs in pokemon centers. also my trainer name does not appear on the menu. after few seconds, game freezes.

i use desmume 0.9.5
Pokemon Platinum (E)
Pokesav 0.06 Platinum
Windows 7
