Why won't pj 64 work with winxp? what do i need to do , to make it work?

I was doing some research before i buy my new vid card and found that the Geforce 4Ti 4600 is the best card. On another website, it said all the Geforce cards were better then any Radeon card? But everybody on this board says the best bet is a Radeon 8500 or 9000. Your thoughts please...

I'm using Pj64 and all of jabos drivers. It will start emulating, but its just a dark screen with no sound. the ftps are at 50- 60. What do I need to do?
