I'm trying to load a savegame from the standard VBA into VBALink. The instructions on the website tell me just to change the extension from .sgm to .sg1, but when I try to load the .sg1 file into VBALink, the program crashes. What is wrong, and what can I do to fix it? Thank you

When I'm trying to save (not using the emulator function, in game), I'm getting the message: "Save error. Please exchange the backup memory." Forum searches directed me here, but I don't know what to do with the .ips file. Do I put it in the save folder as the .exe or what? Thank you.
