how to make aboot hd from awin982ed cd to install win982ed

i just need to know how to boot the laptop up from the hd, into a os, like ms dos 6.22.because this laptop pc has no floppy drive or cd-rom drive.

If D: is your cd drive and C: the hdd you would to:
sys D: C:
copy D:\*.* C:\*.*

At least I think so :)
