I've got the problem that the mario party rom doen't load "normally", it shows the (N)Nintendo64 logo, the Nintendo-in-a-red-elipse logo and the hudson logo with the bee, but after that i get a black screen and 99& of the cpu are in idle, and if i switch off video speed sync, i get something about 16000 VI/s....

but the game doesn't come up. can anyone help me?

Specs? Plugins? Trying to use cheats?

Sorry i am a little new to that all.

specs:
CPU: Intel Pentium III @ 997 MHz
RAM: 512MB SDRAM @ 133MHz
OS: Windows XP Pro w/o service pack
GFX: GeForce 4 4200 Ti
SND: Creative Soundblaster Live 5.1

plugins:
GFX: Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5
SND: Azimer's Audio v0.30 (Old Driver)
CTRL: N-Rage`s DirectInput8 V2 1.80a

didnt' try to use cheats.

if you have the rom yourself (i have the usa version) you could perhaps send me a freeze-file while in the title screen? perhaps works.....

greets and thx for the quick answer, -D-

Did you check if it's a bad rom with GoodN64? Your specs are similar to mine and I can run Mario Party 1 with those plugins. Although Jabo graphics makes Mario Bandstand (the mini-game) crash 1964 on my system (and some other people's), so I use Daedalus.
