converting saved games for PJ64 1.5

i realise this is probably in the wrong section, but i couldn`t see any other more relevant sections to ask.
i`m trying to convert savegames from .srm format to .eep, so it can be used with PJ64 1.5. i`ve got azimer`s saveswapper v1.0 software, but it just seems to convert to the same format.
