Some of the things that I have working now (I think).
[list=1]
Zip file support. Yea!!
TLB exceptions. (Now Golden Eye runs) :)
Able to change plugins with out exiting and restarting TR64. :)
Some setting are save to registry instead of ini file.
Faster.

I the search of the definitive plugin, ill stop here for a while....
i hope Yoshi´s Story work, but the important thing is the speed
so remember to put a FPS meter on the GIU
I see in OpenGL the best option for speed, even beter than direct3d 6

So, time to wait and be patient.....................

Afaik, opengl usually only gives speed on nvidia cards and not much else.
The fastest plugin out there...would it be glide64 i think?

Neat :)
BTW, is the black sky issue in GE core or plugin? If it's core, any chance you could fix it? ;)

Glide64 definitely is the fastest plugin, at least afaik.

im pretty sure that it may be the core, cuz i havent come across a n64 emu/plugin that has perfect sky in goldeneye. UltraHLE seems to give it a ugly pink sky on some levels :sly:
on jabos and most other things, the sky seems to be black instead of blue

Yes, glide64 is the fastest plugin NOW, but is based for 3dfx Glide3x API (only for voodoos), so it won´t work as good as a generic OpenGL API.
That´s why i think OpenGL based plugins will be the best in compatability with the video cards today, that´s my choice.

I wasn't so sure Evoodoo and Glide64 was fastest. I know that Glide64 alone is fastest.

Ya wanna discuss plugins or the emu here? ;)
Niche work icepir8. It's great to see you workin' and makin' such progresses with TR64.

Err, yeah, new emulators and/or releases are always appreciated, no matter in what current position they are.
Great work, icepir.

The black sky is *NOT* the core.
That occurs with Project 64 1.4, because Jabo's gfx 1.4
is *BROKEN*!.
You will get a sky in Jabo's gfx v. 1.5, 1.3, 1.2, 1.1 and 1.0.

This is with jabo 1.5, I would still call it broken....

It is somewhat comfusing, as it happens with all emus, and with all plugins, at least afaik. So it really could be a cumulative error in the plugins, or in the emu cores.

well ultraHLE seems to have a problem with the sky too, sometimes its black, sometimes its pink, it may be a rom problem

I doubt it being a rom problem.
But to get back to TR64, I think it's a good idea to keep all settings centralized, ie either in the ini, or in the registry.

It may very well be a ROM problem as sometimes things can go wrong in Dumping from what ive heard
But.. who am i to judge keep up that sweet sweet looking drug called TR64 Ice ;)

Really I´m very interested if the release of TR64 will come with a final (non-beta) version of the plugin. I hope yes, I think it´s a great plugin.

At least, the sky gfx is there with Jabo's gfx 1.5.
With Jabo's gfx 1.4, the sky is *ALL* black.
And the black sky with UltraHLE is a known issue and
there's nothing you can do about it.
