yea you can, but you wouldn't have much space left after installing that 1.3Gigbytes windows XP, I would much rather recommend you using Windows 2000.

I would recommend win98. Win2k will fill that harddrive as well.

Just install WindowsXP and delete all of the extra programs and bundleware that come with XP, that'll save you a ton of space.

Uhhh, I have a 2 gig HD and I install Win98 on it (dual boot with XP) and its pretty much full after I get my firewall & drivers installed, even without all the extras. You may have to go with 95

Oh thats really crappy. If I may recommend you... Buy a new harddrive. Get a Seagate Barracuda 60 GB 7200 RPM. I paid $100 for it. HD's aren't that expensive. I recommend seagate not cuz I liked it myself. My dad brought it for me when my old 10 Gig broke and It gave me a 856 HD Speed in PC Mark and its darn fast.

If you know 2x and xp the primary boot screen with the grey loading bar. I dont even see the grey loading bar with my Seagate and XP is booted in 28 Secs and 30 th of 100 (I calculated with a stopwatch :D
