For those of you who hate to install windows or office, and download service packs again and again, there is a solution called Slipstreaming.
Basically it's this:
Rip your Windows (or office) cd, apply the patches, and re-burn it
Here are a few links for those interested:
Windows 2000 Pro w/ Service Pack 3 (http://www.bink.nu/bootcd)
Windows XP w/ Service Pack 1 (http://www.windows-help.net/WindowsXP/winxp-sp1-bootcd.html)
Office XP w/ Service Packs 1 and 2 (http://www.viperlair.com/articles/guides/offxpsp1/offxpsp1.htm)
i've tried all 3 of theses and really like it them since i format a lot or might be useful for people with multiple pc's they need to format
Also, both the Win2k and WinXP cds are bootable :)
