Im having trouble using Good N64
my system slows down when I use it .
When the black box appears(like MsDOS) it gives me a list of options how do I access these options? and how do I patch bad roms ?
So far I think that it is a pointless program I don't understand why it is reccommended.
My system
Amd xp 1800+
Geforce4 mx 420
256sdram
40 gig Seagate 7200rpm hdd
Windows XP home Editon

ok, when u run the exe all those printed things you see are options.
to enable the options it goes in this format:
good64.exe -{options} {filename}
the opthing will be single letters and the filename should be the path to the files and then the file name with an extension
good luck :)

Yea, I use GoodWindows 2.4 for a long time now. When I first saw those commandline GoodTools I thought, there must be frontend for this.

What excactly does it do other than tell me what roms I have(I know what roms I have) and the roms that Im missing?(Not groundbreaking stuff really)
If it converts files to .z64 or something like that then I dont need it because PJ 64 will read any N64file that Im aware of.

the reasons for goodn64 are because:
a) avoids complaints about a Emu when a rom is fuxxored
b) identify hacked/ PD roms
c) act as an intelligence test
