A friend faxed me some figures I thought were pretty funny:
If you had bought $1000 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would be worth $49.00.
Enron $16.50 Worldcom $5.00 left If you had bought $1000 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock), drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for $.10 deposit per can, you would have $214.00.
Current investment advice is drink heavily and recycle.
