Hey,

Yesterday NVIDIA released new detonators 30.82 WHQL Certified.

Go get them :D

nice, but whats the point of having them whql certified, please?

That means that they paid microsoft some $$$$ to have them digitaly signed for windows, so that you don't see a million warning messages during the install saying "this driver may cause instability, because nobody paid us to say otherwise". Also its impossible to overclock whqcl (Windows Hardware Quality Control Labs) drivers, as ms won't certify drivers that can do that, so if you want that extra functionality, go grab a non certified driver of the same version (just as stable, just it doesnt have MS seal of approval)

whql certified means that microsoft has blessed them for each of their operating systems. It makes the masses feel good inside.

Its not for you h4x0rz that are always pushing the envelope using the newer beta detonator drivers. :)
