I was just wondering if 1964 has/will eventually have SMP support. Being able to give the video its own CPU would majorly speed some things up.

if you have winxp, you can give 1964 it's own processor (if ya have a second one :)) so that would speed things up to, because that processor is for 1964 only.

ok, somebody (devsys@wow.net?) contacted me about how to do that but since i don't know him i will write it here:
--------------------------------------------------------
I don't know exactly how to do it, i don't have a second processor, but i think that this is the way to do it:
(Some names may be different because i have a Dutch version of WinXp)
- Press Crtl+Alt+Del to launch the "Task Manager"
- Select the process you want to assign to your second processor on the "Processes" tabloid.
- Rightclick and select "Setup Affinity"
- Select your second processor from the list
Your 2nd processor must be recognised and installed by windows, otherwise the "Setup Affinity" won't appair in the popupmenu.

That will only work in XP Pro - the Home version doesn't support Dual CPU setups.
