View Full Version : GIF limitations in Internet Explorer

It's been bugging me that IE limits the speed of animated GIFs. It seems to put a cap on frame duration at no less than 10/100s of a second. I have a few pics with frames displayed for much shorter intervals. They look great in external viewers, but very slow in IE.

Seems like a long-shot, but is there any sort of work-around for this limitation?

I'm using Macromedia Fireworks if that means anything.

I have the same problem with gifs created with animation studio, from paint shop pro.
