Since I am a n00b to this program and the readme tells me updates instead of instructions...

Will someone please tell me how this works?

I tried running it.. selecting the N64 and then the game DIR
I then hit the scan button and executed the scan. It shows some text documents or something.....

I thought there was something that would say GOOD or BAD

That is all I really need to know....

Please help this n00b

The program tells you which roms that you have and which ones you don't. Very simple concept to grasp...:thumbsup:
just make sure that they all have a [!] symbol after them as those are the verified good dumps of the game.

LOL Now that sounds funny.....

Why would I need a program to tell me what ROMS I have and don't have???

I can easly look in my directory for that info right??

I thought it scanned the ROM and told me if it was GOOD or BAD (corrupt)

looking in the directory will tell you what ROMs you think you have. GoodN64 will tell you what ROMs you actually have. Your choice.

Hang on, I can explain that in a less smug, more useful way. The point is not to tell you the difference between Legend of Zelda, The - Ocarina of Time (U) (V1.0) [!] and Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness (U) [!], it's to tell you the difference between Legend of Zelda, The - Ocarina of Time (U) (V1.0) [!] (which will work) and Legend of Zelda, The - Ocarina of Time (U) (V1.1) [b1] (which won't).

Bah! Get the emulation utility (http://pj64utility.emuxhaven.net) and wait for a new version to come.

Or just stick with the old one
