I dunno about you guys but im waiting for the clawhammer. At first I didn't think much of it but the third party benchmarks are sweet, 800mhz athlon killing a 1600mhz p4 with even a lower bus speed.

Right now I have a crappy p3 1ghz.

yes you realise that crappy p3 1ghz probably puts you in the top 1% of all computer owners? Maybe not 1, but no more than 5, probably a lot less.

Yes but I also believe pentiums are crap, they are overpriced underworking peices of crap. I only got a P3 because at the time I bought it, AMD didnt make laptop CPUs. (or at least not any good ones)

Not to brag, but i beats all of you :) Specs in sig :) Anyways, your right, a P3 1 ghz does put you in the top 1-5% of PC owners. A lot of people have old, old, computers nowadays, and most of the 1-5% are shammed into buying from.. retailers *shudder*.

its a ball with little 18(?)" cord that plugs into the side of my keyboard

/overclocks processor (mmm, Redstorm idiotproof overclocking...)

Woohoo! I`ve joined the ranks of the overclocked and with a bit of tweaking now have it at a mere 12 mhz shy of 1.7ghz. Which in an Athlon rather than an intel chip is A Very Nice Thing Indeed [t.m.]... WCPUID now thinks I have an Athlon 1900..! And my cpu temperature is still the same... weird.
/wonders if overclocking to equivalent of 2ghz intel is possible...
